“SALT LAKE CITY — As our state’s population continues to grow, so does the demand for high-growth construction and building trades. One organization wants to help satisfy the demand with a pre-apprenticeship program just for women.

Since 2023, Utah Women in Trades has aimed to empower those looking to get into trade careers with the help of a 36-week program. After completing it, participants are able to apply for an apprenticeship of their choosing.
